1. Event Expectations and Guidelines
Supervision and Safety:
The event will be fully supervised by school staff and parent volunteers. There will be security personnel present at the venue to ensure the safety of all participants. Students must follow the instructions of chaperones and security staff at all times.
Prohibited Items:
The following items are strictly prohibited at Grad Night:
- Alcohol, tobacco, and drugs of any kind (including vaping devices).
- Weapons or items that can be used as weapons.
- Any items that could disrupt the event or pose a safety risk.
Dress Code:
Students are expected to dress appropriately for the event. The dress code is . Clothing should be respectful and free from offensive language or imagery.
Arrival and Departure:
Students must arrive at the designated time and location. No one will be permitted to leave the event early unless pre-arranged with school administration and the student’s parent/guardian. Parents/guardians will be notified if a student attempts to leave early without prior consent.
3. Consent for Participation in Activities
During Grad Night, students may participate in various activities, including but not limited to:
- Amusement rides and inflatables.
- Games, contests, and competitions.
- Live entertainment, such as DJs, performers, or shows.
- Group meals and refreshments.
By signing this form, parents/guardians consent to their child’s participation in these activities and acknowledge that they are aware of the nature of the activities. Reasonable safety measures will be in place, but there is always a risk of injury when participating in physical activities. The school will not be held liable for any injuries that may occur, except in cases of gross negligence.
5. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the values of our school. Misconduct, including but not limited to the following, may result in the immediate removal of the student from the event and further disciplinary action:
- Use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco.
- Disruptive or inappropriate behavior.
- Refusal to comply with instructions from event staff, chaperones, or security personnel.
Parents/guardians will be contacted if their child engages in any misconduct, and they may be required to pick up their child from the event.
6. Waiver and Release of Liability
By signing this form, I acknowledge that I have read and understood the guidelines and expectations for Grad Night. I consent to my child’s participation in all activities and assume full responsibility for any risks associated with those activities. I hereby release and hold harmless the school, its employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising from my child’s participation in Grad Night, except in cases of gross negligence.
